Alexie Petrenko was born in picturesque Crimea, in Southern Ukraine, from a family of artists. His artistic talents were well-appreciated at the age of thirteen, when one of his paintings won an award in a competition in Paris. That painting now hangs in the private collection of Jacques Cousteau, the French under-water explorer.

Since graduating from an art college in 1997, he has established himself as an artist with his own distinctive style. Working mainly in oils, watercolour and Indian-ink pen, his work is characterised by fine detail and very sensitive appreciation of colour. This can be seen in his paintings of landscapes and still life, where he succeeds in capturing natural beauty onto canvas.

Tatiana Petrenko was born in Crimea as well. While doing a usual secondary education she attended a musical school for five years. From 1995 to 2002 Tatiana was a very successful member of an amateur theatre company "Arlekin". In 2005 she graduated from The National Academy of Law in Odessa, Ukraine.

Her love of art started at an early age and after graduating from University Tatiana started exhibiting her work in Crimea. Her works now hang in many private collections. Today, Tatiana lives with her family in Kiev where she continues to paint her stunning abstracts.
